It work for the nose..but for not the windpipe sadly. When u reach the same sensitivity as me, humidifier actually make it worse due to the moist air coagulating the disintegrated pollen (intact pollen doesn't cause the hayfever, as it's too large to enter ur eyes and so on) to serve as a more potent delivery of much higher quantity. Hence, the thunderstorm asthma last week. My advise for those people who stay here for long term, please get the desensitization jab. The response will get worse every yr, just a matter of how bad it is. It would not get better. Mine has increased exponentially~
That sounds terrible. Well as a long time hayfever sufferer I found that living in Asia was much better for me. In Australia, Sydney and Queensland were better than Melbourne.
The humidity thing is interesting though, I do find the humidifier is helping my sinuses a lot in at home because its not as dry and there's less irritation for my eyes, nose and skin. Outside though is a different story, nasal spray works well for me.
