I would prefer to meet up ClubSnappers first, ice-break and then decide to see if any of us have common ground. Besides, it's very cold, and not many are willing to get out.

I'm quite sure I want to go too but have no car. I would like to take some nice shots of those dogs. Besides, I really want to test my camera's AF tracking (which I believe sucks).

Well if anyone of you guys are interested in going for the Sled Dog shoot in Mt Hotham remember to put anti-freeze in the coolent and get snow chains. I'm pretty sure they wont let you up with no snow chains. Its also cheaper to buy/rent them in Melbourne than on the way up the mountain.

There is no shoot intended for the day. It's just a social meet-up to know other fellow ClubSnappers, mostly would be Singaporeans I assume, and in that case, know other Singaporeans then.

It's an opportunity to know people who are already here, what they are doing, what they like to do, etc. Naturally, regardless of race, most people tend to be comfortable around their own kind unless you're quite like me, a "pervert" who mingles with other races.
