What do u mean by pro lab? I have never understood that classification although most pple mean good quality development labs but that is a rather vague definition.

I am just find them matching my requirements well in all depts and I'm happy with the prints.

jus came back from Digipro with a few hundred digital prints. the service is good and efficient. they also does 135mm and 120mm film processing and printing. they uses Fuji crystal archival supreme paper. priints were quite good.

have a talk with a few of the guys there. very friendly ppl. dun noe whether is it the introduction promotion or not, but they give 8R ondex prints FOC with printing. was very impress by it.

maybe u guys can give it a try and feedback here. btw, the pricing for members is quite attractive!!

Nope. I usu do the index prints on my inkjet for storage with CDs.

I have lived there for 20 years. It is a brand new shop! Did u note their shop design? Ala BreadTalk style with clear glass and bright lights. :)

yap, the shop is brand new. got the info from Offstone forum. save me a lot of time and money.

btw, they uses the latest frontier machine.

I looking for shops that don't charge handling fees. Be it need min quota or not.. please give some highlights can? Thanks

Look at Mocha's post above. E-color has no handling fee.:)

Got my prints from Digipro today. The prints are great! Was expecting a grainy print as it was digital but the quality was exactly the same was my film prints!!

I love the prints! Shopowner very friendly and even offered me a colour profile so that the colours will be close to the printer colour.

But noticed that some of my prints that i cropped turned out slightly "chopped". E.g. hëad cropped too much that the hair was gone. In my original pictures, i cropped the pictures a bit tight that it was just nice. Maybe i should left my pictures uncropped and leave it to the experts?

Was it because the size i cropped was not exactly 4R?

Yup. I did the fontier profile for them. It is posted free on the internet at www.drycreekphoto.com. See more details above on DigiPro.

Yup. It is critical u maintain the correct ratio to avoid cropping. If u don't, ask for the fit into window mode which results in a white board. More details and advice on Frontier printing from www.drycreekphoto.com.

anyone knows how much does Ruby photo charges for 4R?
any handling charges?

mocha: for E-colour 4R prints less than 100 how much?

hmm.... why not state the pricing for the labs as well for a better comparism.

for a start - Fotohub 50cents for 4R and 45cents if member (membership is lifetime)
