no la. i think u meant that Nikon cannot use other brand's lenses? ya, becos the mount is smaller whereas canon's bigger and thus can accept more.

but nikon, u can use super old lens from 30yrs before. the mount remain the same all these years but not canon.

nikon has a shorter focal plane distance compared to other brands so other brand lenses cannot be used on nikon body with the exception of medium format lens from hassy.

interesting tit-bit. the first canon cameras were sold with nikkor lenses.
