what us the best setting for night mode and also people moving around
i got try once in danga bay for night shoot use f 5.6 1/30 iso 1600 the result of the photo is not so good

any rekon setting can be use on this situation (still less in shooting need help from experience shooters)

do you have an external flash? it would be very useful. With that you can set to iso 100 F8.0 1/60 or higher.

nope only internal flash only

Then make a diffuser for your internal flash, so it wouldn't appear too harsh on your pictures. But don't ask me how to make one.

I finally had some time to sort through some of the shots that I took at Bedok Reservoir. Thanks to Mahathir for bringing us to the nice spots to take those nice landscape shots.

The first shot in my PAD is something that I had been wanting to try since I saw it on some website. It was not executed perfectly 'cos I had limited time and I was too excited. I guess it is sort of light painting.

Yeah, enjoyed the outing, kinda fun going up the hill thru the quite path at 10.30pm to catch nice view of the reservoir.

the only best remedy for this kind of place is obviously to use an external flash.. if not, jack up your power of the pop up flash.

That's easy...invite all of us there and we can help you shoot or even lend you our ext. flash or 50mm 1.8 :bsmilie::bsmilie::bsmilie:

Honestly...if you are just shooting ppl not too far away your internal flash is sufficient but definetly not at 1/30! Try switching to TV mode and ISO to Auto then adjust ur shutter to at least 1/80 or 1/125 depending on ur lens used and not more than 5 feet away...you should get quite decents shots lah...my 2 cents

Somebody told me once that if you are using UWA....nvr put ur subjects by the corners...hehehe
