We are meeting everyone weekend for the month of May to document and shoot street at Tiong Bahru. This is open to everyone who loves photography and not just Four Thirds users.

For those who are shy but would like to contribute to this thread, if you have recently shot Tiong Bahru Estate, it would nice of you to share some of your images as well. Hope this becomes an archival page for years to come for the next generation, to see how Tiong Bahru looked like in 2009....

Great idea for shooting there, made me feel very nostalgic. Haven't been shooting architecture for quite a long while, its a good break and definitely inspiring. hope to attend more shoots in the future.

Thanks for the compliment. You have a good eye. This was shot on the 7-14mm.
Well, kampung or not, we are trying our best to archive and document the images of Singapore in 2009 the best that we can... at least we know we are freezing time in this community level project.

Though this was born from the Four Thirds community, but anyone with a camera is welcome to join us, even with point and shoot cameras.

Hope to see more people joining us in our next weekend's outing.

We stopped by this fruits shop for drinks at Seng Poh Road, across from Tiong Bahru Market. The shopkeeper shared with us that he is the 3rd generation owner of the shop with a history of 64 years. his grandfather opened this shop in 1945 at this location and its been the family business ever since.
