Class 24 24108 Hang Jebat resting at Singapore Yard

Nice Series and documentation.

May I know where you get the info that are attached to the pics, besides the registration number (ie Class 24 and Hang Jebat)

Cheers

Thanks:)

The numbers are like their own identities. Each loco has 4 name plates attached to it(2 on each side) and on the name plate itself is its number (Class 23 starts with 23/Class 24 starts with 24/Class 25 starts with 25 and so on...).The last 3 numbers(101/102/103 and so on...) are its identification numbers. So lets say this is the 14th loco of the 25 class its number will be 25114...

The names are all given by KTM themself which has a 'theme' for each class.Locations can be found through googe-ing and searching the street directory:)

Correction.

25 class has two different batches. The last three number isn't the identification number, or as you call it. The last two digit is the identification number.

Anyway, you aren't allowed to post photos of trains at the yard itself. You are considered as trespassing the area already.

Good morning Cleon, I am from the forum where you've been posting your trainspotting logs on.

Please note that you are trespassing into a restricted area (Tanjung Pagar Yard) as well as other areas on the tracks. You are required to sit for a course at the Malaysian Railway Academy at Batu Gajah to obtain a special certification. However, this certification is not needed at stations as there are ample safety signages and tools around.

In order to prevent further trouble or legal action to be taken against you, I strongly suggest you delete all pictures taken from the yard immediately.
