I hope this is the right forum to post my query.
I was just clearing away some stuff in my storeroom and found a shoe box of my old 35mm negatives long forgotten. They were taken probably between 1995 to early 2000.
I did a random scan with my Nikon CoolScan V and found that they came out yellowish. This could be due to the way it was stored which resulted in the deterioration.
I did a Google to see if there are any negative cleaners out there which will help but the results came back with so much information that I'm not sure which route to take.
I'm hoping that the cleaning process will be much easier and shorter since the scanning process takes up alot of time already.
Also, I do not know if any of these chemicals (Photoflow, isopropyl alcohol, PEC, etc) will help.
Hope that some of the bros out there can help enlighten me.
Thanks.
