My package was just collected and I belatedly sensed something odd with the whole thing, so I started googling and found this.
Have asked the courier to hold shipment and hoping they can still retrieve the package from the shipping container.

This guy sends you messages on whatsapp and takes on average 3-4 hours to reply. You will notice a single grey tick after sending your messages usually.
His strategy and sequence of questions are:
1) Hi is it available?
2) How’s the condition?
3) Are u the direct owner or reseller?
4) Can you share your asking price again?
5) Any discount if i get your bundle?
6) Is price fixed?
7) Lastly he will send that lol portion on his son in Philippines

OMG, I already arranged for UPS to collect the camera but don't feel easy and keep googling, finally found the comments in this forum.
I was suspicious when he said he dont have Paynow, and insist on using Paypal. When I ask if he can ask his friends/family to paynow me, he said cannot.
Same story, send to my son in Manila for this thesis...

Haha! This forum is really updated! Maybe cos I'm still in 2 minds about selling my lens or his slow replies, already a bit TL don't feel like selling to him liao.. then he mentioned shipping so I told him never mind.. seriously even if it's not a scam, how to sell a lens via delivery sial.. we are not amazon leh, any dispute will be too troublesome to resolve if not dealing face to face..

Love this thread, I almost got tricked by this guy too, the email was too suspicious for me so I just had to do a quick google search, so thankful for all the posts here, saved my ass!
