Can you tell me how much a new Canon D60 cost 4 years ago and the resale value now? And how much do you think it will cost 6 years down the road?

BTW... our celebrity Jazzguy's ADSL modem suffered from a lightning strike, that's why he has been out of action for a while. He will be back!

I agree. Even the latest digital camera is obselete as designers and engineers are coming up with better versions. But classic cameras have their resale value and quality. The SLR I'm using has been through three person's hands (as I know of) and is still working perfectly. Even if the camera still holds substantial value, I don't think it is able to be used.

I have been collecting mechanical cameras for ten year or more.All my cameras are in working condition and sometimes I just pull one out from my collections and put in a roll of film and go shooting.
I have collections of Nikon, Leica,Contarex,Rollei,Pentax,Voigtlander,Canon,Topcon and some others medium & large format cameras. I also collect lenses and they produced good images.

My collections are too big to show, I have just completed 95% of my Nikon cameras, I still have a few models that I have not yet made images.When I have the time, I will work on my Canon cameras & lenses. Have not collected Yashica TLR before but a used one will be in the region of(S$150-180.)Rollei (lower end ones) will be about double the price.I have not checked prices, but I think its in that region.

Thanks, if i'm addicted to MF.. I might sell off all my canon system to get a MF camera... buget wise should be about 3K plus after selling the canon system... get a wide angle and a telephoto and that all... I will be shooting colour and B&W...

cause I'm more into landscape and nature photography..

My shop is still there, go through the Hotel Holiday Inn Atrium main entrance, walk to the right,you see the Business Centre and beside the glass door leading into Concorde Shopping Centre. You see the elevator, go up to 2nd floor,top of elevator, turn left and you see a jewelery shop on the right, walk straight to it and turn left, walk straigth,you pass the food shop and you can see my shop.;p

I opened after 1pm or 2pm That's my relaxation shop.:thumbsup:
