Hi guys,

just came accros This Thread and I read that claiming GST = losing warranty.

Can anyone confirm this? I am in Jakarta, and I travel to Singapore for a week every month, making it economically feasible to buy my photography equipment in Singapore.

Thanks in advance

I don't think so, as long as you have the original receipt with valid date of purchase, and shop stamp, there is no reason why the warranty is not valid... Unless the item you bought does not cover by warranty or export items...

I think the warranty should valid in the country of purchase...tax rebate is none of the manufacturer's business..
