omg.. bro, these are easily the best shots of nz in this forum!

many of the shots looked like they had long exposures... did you bring along a tripod?

i'm actually going over in 2 days, will be spending 3 months there for business reasons. am thinking of leaving my tripod out cos its so heavy :dunno:

anyhow, do you think you can share your itinery with me?

thanks in advance!

oh yah... and what lenses did you bring? i'm still considering whether or not to bring my 70-200 f2.8L on top of my 24L and 50L. any advice?

Splendid photos you have there from NZ! I can tell how much fun you had photographing this beautiful place :)
Look forward for more!

Yes, I brought my tripod along, no choice if u want to do long exposure... I'm using mainly an UWA and a standard zoom 17-50mm for pano. It really depend on what u want to shoot, n your shooting style, I did see somebody shooting landscape using 70-200mm too.

Can u pm me your email so that I can send u my itinerary, wish u have an enjoyable and safe trip, and pls share with us your NZ photos in future :-)

Thank you for reminding me how beautiful NZ is, love to go back there again after I left the country more than 20 years ago.

The mirror lake is called Lake Matheson

This is the mirror lake along Milford road, Lake Matheson is at Fox, which is also well known of it's reflection of Mt. Cook and Mt. Tasman :-)
