Ciesta VS Zhou VS Luigi Basic

Hello Guys,

I've been thinking of getting a "Tshirt" for my M8. (budget SGD300)

I've so far considered 3 brands Zhou's Case , Luigi (erm.. this brand I think don't need much emphasis lar hur hur... but I'm referring to the Basic Luigi model which costs about 200-300SGD ) and Ciesta.

Anyone have experience with these 3 cases, advice and tips are welcome. All Ciesta and Luigi Basic costs about the same price, Zhou costs about half of either 2.

I'm not too sure of the leather quality of Zhou, but it seems pretty good from what I have read up.

Inbuilt grip is a plus for me ! <-- I'm referring to the inbuilt leather filled grip NOT the extra inbuilt space for me to buy a grip and fit it in ;)

Thanks
Kenneth :)

First, I am not sure your budget of SGD300 can get Luigi or Ciesta if you include shipping and other options

Second, whether your camera need a leather case constructed from premium grade Italian leather made in Italy by fine italian craftsman - a question only you can answer.

Personally, I don't think leather case help me take better picture, nor does it make me oogle my camera any more than I already do. Nowadays, my M9 is either naked or in Zhou case.

If you not sure about leather quality, you can see Zhou leather case at Chiif camera.

thanks for the reply bro. by saying " my M9 is either naked or in Zhou case." i take it your testifying for Zhou ! ill pop by chiif to check it out :) did not know they have it here ! thought the only way to get zhou's was online !!!

I've tried both Zhou & Luigi.

Luigi the only good part about it which I like is that the leather smell is super "pang"

Smells like some expensive hermes leather bag.

I prefer Zhou for the value for money fact. Good quality, durable & most importantly, well priced

Zhuo is surprising well-made with the back cushion for your thumb the rest of the cases lack. Honestly good. But Luigi is Italian afterall and matches your Bikin's bag much better :) I sold my Zhuo and kept my Luigi. Im a bimbo and I like Italian handi-craft like the bag I carry.

Take note Luigi glue at the strap will come off after sometime due to the humid weather in asia. This is confirm 100% and will require the user to glue it back. Not a big deal, I glued mine back with super glue.

A&A cases are made using Italian leather also.

Tried them all (including hand made ones in Japan), went with the Luxecase. Cut/quality seems consistent and covers the top (unlike the AA ones).

Using a Zhou Case, came with the camera, wears well, good stuff :)

Haven't tried Ciesta / Luigi but have a Zhou case for my RD1s... it fits nicely and great value for money!

Luigi's basic line is not hand made and doesn't use the same grade leather as his premium line.
