Personnaly prefer Jurong East - play pools.

i stay 5 mins away from the CCK complex... LOL

ive yet to go to the one at jurong east..
i think both r gd.... well.. not much bikini though

Thanks for the responses.

I really like the river-type pool where the water flows automatically and you
can rent a float and just relax.

I know it's available at Jurong East - what about CCK ? Is there one too ?

Also, CCK is newer right ?

Thanks again.

CCK pool always very crowded even on weekdays afternoons till night time. by 6pm u will have to elbow often for space. they always have children's lessons at both ends of the walls, and they always block traffic by going left right up down...their lessons continue all the way till 8+pm..sigh but cant blame them =) its definitely not conducive for long, relaxed swims. even lanes 4 and 5 also quite hard to hog

but definitely got quite some bikini babes ;-) that time i saw one of them, swimming breaststroke like for ever nonstop. i was very very impressed..i think she went for at least 2++ km nonstop. that time i was still novice swimmer, only able to do 50m freestyle one shot at most. the image of that awesome swimmer will always be etched in my memory, and it provided a part of my motivation to train for half-ironman. nowadays when i go for 2km swims, i will at soem point recall of the graceful figure gliding smoothly thru the water..certainly helps in turning any bad swim into a good one =)

Upz for the JE one. :D

i feel that these pools are absolutely dangerous!! Was on one of the large spiral slides in JE (those which require a float) when it just flipped up from below me, and before i knew it, i was sliding down on my head. Its was a miricle i didnt break my neck.

I though it was an isolated incident, but as i was standing round the pool recovering, i heard a loud bang, and a few seconds later, a float came sliding down sans rider. :dunno:

It turned out that the guy who evantually came out suffered the same fate as me. I complained to the lifeguard....but have never been back since.
