I've not used Transcend myself, but from what I hear its pretty decent. Performs better than Kingston at least. Price wise they're a lot cheaper... but in terms of resale their value is less.
Cards like Sandisk's ultra and lexar's pro series tend to sell better on the 2nd hand market.

got the Scandisk Ulltra II at $207 last friday at Funan "infocom". FOC - Scandisk card reader, but need to pick up the card reader at middle road.

Not sure the price for Lexar.
