I don't like blur b&w... cos a lot of interesting details that are only visible in colour are lost in b&w, leaving with the bare elements of the direction of light flow in general. So, if you whole idea is to make a dizzy framework, good for you.
For me, I would've opted to edit the shots in colour, even if it's half desaturated, or over-saturated.
