Cheap starter RF?

Hi all, I was able to borrow a Canonet QL117 recently and needless to say I was pretty impressed with it.

I have been reading around, seems like if I have a budget of around $300, a interchangeable system is not within my reach right? Would probably be better off with a fixed lens RF? Or do the bros here have any other suggestions? :)

PS: Looking at the Yashica GSN, Minolta Hi-matic and of course the Canonet, anyone has any idea where to find them locally? CS prices seem to hover at around $180 for the GSN, not sure if that is on the high side, would appreciate some advice!;)

Perhaps you might also consider FSU (vintage Soviet era) rangefinders as one of your consideration. They are not expensive, lens can be exchangeable (M39 lens mount).

The disadvantage is their somewhat unreliability and imperfections; which makes the whole shooting experience special. But then again these types of rangefinders is not for everyone. I have quite a number of FSU cameras to let go if you are interested. Just let me know.
