Cheap digital print

hmm.... does every shop prints digital photos? If it is, then I think rather pointless to travel to town just to get it printed where theres already a few in my neighbourhood. Of course, unless the quality is differ by a lot.

but the $$ also differs alot mah!!! imagine...one differ by 20cents.....10 will be $2.......100 photos will be $20 !!!

True also. But if fewer photos, maybe can do some calculation of travel fee to see if its worth the time and money. Travel takes time too you know

If you don't like to travel, try fotohub.com. Online service

They send to you ($2.00 charge, cheaper than to and fro bus fare!)

But I think max is 50 copies for delivery.

$0.50 per pc, no handling fee.

About 3 days to process and reach your home.

just collected my digital print from Toa Payoh HDB Hub Kodak Express. Printout was as good as negative prints. I had mine printed out in 4R size glossy. Price per print was 35 cents for 3 day service and 50 cents for 1 day service. Not sure about service charges as I printed out 160 photos and wasn't charged any service charges.

the pic (4:3 ratio) you took does not fit onto a 4R (3:2 ratio). of you fit everything into the 4R, the pic will be distorted. check out previous posts on cropping of photos.

errr fotohub states for 4R recommended resolution is 640X480, but I can give them a bigger resolution with the (3:2) ratio too right?

There is the minimum size they accept. I use to send my 1280x853 (crop from 1280x960) image taken with my oly c-1.

BTW, are all the recommended places uses Kodak Royal Paper?
Do anyone know any places that uses this paper which charge less than 40 cents?

I do my prints now at Whampao Color ( or something like that).

No handling fee.
40 cents if prints all photo from storage media.
50 cents for selective printing.

10% off if more than 40 pcs.

Free photo album..

What i like about it is they print it immediately for you while you wait.

But no index print.

Previously used the one at SLS, good service, can do on the spot printing. I drop it off, go eat BCM, buy stuffs from SLS and the photo is usually ready for collection after that.

No handling fee.
40 cents a piece if more than 50.

I printed a few batches of photo from the shop at SLS called King's Express at #01-33. Good service. Reasonable price.

I printed > 50 pieces of 4R at @$0.40 each, no handling charges. One of my friend printed 400+ 4R, and got a rate of $0.35, no handling charge.
