My God... ^^ You dug up all Veronica's posts ah? Are you her boyfriend, Reliance bro?

:D Thanks, these pics bring back memories~

sorry to say but this is quite bad...i have nothing more to say. you should have already know what is wrong about this shoot

Put . in. the . effort. to go to the point where you feel you did your damn best and you don't care what others say.

Wow, I think that's really sound advice (for me)! Tho i dunno who to thank for it, Wisp or DP. lol...

Anyway, I think there are quite a few nice pics from your series Leejay :)

horrible, choose the best and post please.

renew: ^_^ hehe~Have a nice weekend and all the best in your apprenticeship! I know you can do it!

daill: :bsmilie: So you've seen how I kena whacked? Thanks, bro~hehe ^^

Just realised this was an old thread being dug up... you very popular lah bro ;p

These CSers in P&P sure are a tough crowd leejay. But still very helpful tho, if you take their comments in the right spirit as you have done

Its an old thread?! lol okays. I tot it was new coz i know that LeeJay has improved.

LeeJay: Its going great at the company, learning alot but there is alot of work put in just for one shot. A lot of details. Sometimes might take one whole day just to do one shot. Its tough man

seems like someone enjoys digging old threads?

Arrrggh!!!! It is Tanah Merah......

:) Takeshi bro, cool down and take a look at one of my newbie posts. THAT's called harsh comments.

This forum has in fact become milder already. We are all friendly people generally. =) Hehe...

Thanks leejay for the share of this "history".... It seem posting on the "Ready, Lights, Action! Concert, stage performances & events photography.", generally have less criticisms as there is often no chance to pose the model or control the lighting.... :bsmilie:

your models are beautiful..especially jac

the sofa doesnt match the subject...n the padding of the bikini top is slipping out...
actually, for her nice curves, should just go for a "non paded" bikini top...
showing a bit of the curves of the nips will make her look sexier...

dont be too disheartened by the comments...
at least you have nice subject to shoot...

hmmm..can i join you?

Welcome :embrass: Hehe~ Yeah, that's why P&P and RLA are unique in their own ways. No worries, bro, the RLA section will burst into hot activity during Super Import Nights every year and our pics will also be enjoyed by hardwarezone people during this season. :bsmilie:
Oh I miss Veron, manz. :bheart: ^^

Sure bro, if I have a good theme, I'll let you know. I'm currently waiting for Jac to remove her braces which will take a few months. Thanks for the comments. :D

imho, jac looks better off then veronica. in term of body line and skin tone, face contour. TBH, you have both very pretty and decent looking girl.....i must even say the easily get B ++ grade above. It should by right compliment a lot on your shot. but here is some typical silly mistake you made in your collection.

1. messy hair.
2. never crop in knee cap if shooting 3/4 shot. never amputed your model wrist, albow or hair.
3. no proper eye contact. even assuming some shot you don want eye contact, the eye level should be facing right.
4. should not shooting "**** eye", it looks weird with **** eye if you wish to present your picture in conventional portrait shoot in beach.
5. plan, plan and always plan your theme. not just a plain bikini shoot. always you made your shoot look like no different from other bikini.
6. overall, the shot was taken probably after 3pm afternoon, with very flat, "moody" lighting, a lot of hazy feeling.
7. never see eye sharp, few picture looks back focus. any portraiture even bikini, eye, catching light should be there.
8. never let hair cover up model eye.
9. wrong flash exposure, you can actually try to use gold reflector.
10. distracted background like tree and rock.
11. most picture wrong composition and wrongly posed. use golden triangle rules and rules of third.like this, here some good study tips.

that is all for today, rome city isnt build oneday. do be patient and do more study before you click the shutter. hope these pointer helps

havent posted anything in ages... but i do agree... leejay takes it in damn well....

old thread or new... you can really tell who are those that deserves the respect (photographer or not) and those that really should trash their remarks in their bins :)

Cheers to you!

I like this composition best, can't view your Exif but I am guessing shot at F5.6... would be nicer if it is shot at larger aperture.
