Well, you do have an advantage, safety in numbers. So many pictures, I really do not know where to start, where to start slamming.

One underlying thing, the all CMI, that is for sure, but there is no one underlying problem. Problems are everywhere.

Worst of all, the problem is not yours, but with the organizer, because the styling really sucks.

what's so "sucky" about the styling? care to elaborate?

How about in Photoshop, after Converting to sRGB, go to

Photoshop> View> Proof Setup> Monitor RGB
Photoshop> View> Proof Setup> Windows RGB
(There should be very little difference here
between Monitor RGB and Windows RGB.)

all CMI, haha!!! i think is the photographer problem , not able to managed the situation . But is good experience as a beginner who really want go into it, to understand how to face and control the timing, model, lighting as well to handle kind of rush hour shoot in real world... anyway thanks to notice me !

Strong words but I had to agree that the styling needs to be improved. Models are lovely but the clothings failed to bring out the best in them.

Lightings could've been better

I can't comprehend whats wrong with #16...this is the only eyesore
her body form does look weird...maybe TS can shed some light to what went wrong?

haha. knew u would be here. TS do choose the better ones to post and especially not those that models are not ready, its unglam.

however i kinda like the styling here. alot of effort put in definitely, esp to coordinate so many models. and i think the models know their posing pretty well. way to go.
definitely something new here.

Well, from my point of view, By seeing the photos taken, I think the Organiser has done a great job on organising the Models specially with this kind of shoot. Although I did not attend the shoot, but As you know, Lingerie shoots are not that easy to organise. as the organiser as well as style coordinator, so many ideas & creativity effort need to be put here. furthermore, organising 6-8 models with different talents & styles within a limited period of time ???
Surely it is not an easy job for the organiser. But seeing from the pictures uploaded by the TS hmmmmm, even isn't as good as an International Commercial Shoots, But I think the shoot is well organised and has shown that the organiser has put really great effort on it. at least for my opinion. Great Job Bro Colin as usual.... Hope I can join your shoot again next time ;). Haven't seen you for a long time also ha..ha..ha... :D......

Reading my mind now? :) It is quite obvious, how can I resist this one. It's really bad.

Some mentioned how difficult it is to organized such shoot and Charby did a good job. Great. Good for him. His organizing stills had been tested and he is quite good. I am not talking about organizing skills here. I am talking the styling of the models - make up and outfits.

At it stands, the only thing that came through is, neither here nor there and the models all looked bored and uninspired, and the outfits are much to be desired. Sensual they are not. Sexy they are not. Hot, they definately are may degrees remove.

It is just a blatant attempt to make a fast buck by making the model dressing up in trashy lingerie and exposing some flesh. And yet, if that was the intention, it could still be done better.

This is hilarious. A self-appointed critique who is slamming the organiser on a subjective aspect because he does not know how to critique a series of 31 shots posted by a 1st timer who has stated he had difficulties shooting. It is obvious you are trying very hard to be mean by adopting the antagonistic approach from the onset but not being there and forming your opinion based only on shots of part of the shoot is hardly objective. There would be more credence to a review of a film based only on the trailers.

I was at the shoot and I do not find the models bored or uninspired. It does not matter if, you, an outsider to the event do not like the models, the styling or anything whatever that you can bring up. What matters is that 30 paying customers did not complain and as I gathered from conversations after the event, liked it and some asked for more such. Afaik, noone who matters had complains. From the response, the majority liked what they see.
You are the odd man out and therefore, as fashion styling goes, the one with the queer taste.
The organiser was catering for a huge mixed group and came up with a set menu. Sure, as in a concert, there are things not to my taste but overall I liked and enjoyed it. If you don't like it, go a la carte and organise your own. However, I doubt if you can come anywhere close with 8 models and a budget under $130. If you do, I guarantee you I will pay double to get in on it for this I got to see. As it is, this shoot is streets ahead of any shoot organised in CS so far in my experience particpating in group shoots.

first studio shots, not managed well for the constant light  , C&C welcome ;p
...
Hi, we were in the same group. Nice to meet and shoot with you. However, you must have had close to 1,000 shots. How come you stopped posting wth still portions not covered?

While I admire the TS for posting up so many photos, wouldn't it be better for him to select 2-3 that he feels were his best and then get some honest feedback on those few?

OK start From "take 1" selected..the rest was deleted

What's CMI?

I think the hard light didn't work here, the images are neither high/mid/low key exactly for the lighting presented and the model's positioning. Part of the problem of shooting studio as a group would be not being able to change the light settings/position yourself (esp if you're new at this or you don't own the lights).

#2 was a good effort, work from there :)
