changing format for handphone video

hi guys,

i m totally lost when come to video stuff.

i m converting the format of some clips for use with my handphone.

if i change the following of the original clip :

video
1) 12fps increase to 30fps,
2) bitrate from 152kbps to 2016kbps,
3) size from 426 x 242 to 640 x 360

audio
1) 15.2kbps to 96kbps
2) 1 channel to 2 channel
3) sample frequency 22.05khz to 44.1khz

the file size had increase by about 6x as a result.

does that in anyway improve the quality of the clip?

Changing these parameters like this will only make the file bigger, it will not improve the quality. But if you could shoot the video in the first place using the new parameters, that should make a real difference.
