P pokiemon Senior Member Feb 8, 2009 #3 Thanks for your suggestion but Canon software only allows you to save as JPEG or TIFF.
ortega Moderator Feb 8, 2009 #4 you should be changing the pixel size instead of resolution eg: lets say your image is 3000px x 2000px you should resize it to say 700px or 640px on the longer side and then save as and select a different jpeg compression (say 6) that should do the trick
