CF card prices

anyone bought any CF cards recently?
would like to know the market price for sandisk ultraII, ext III (2GB and 4GB) cards and perhaps lexar..

but think better to avoid lexar since the last issue that it had with canon cameras

active foto is not in the listed authorised dealers in vector magnetics.

so i'm not sure if warranty might be an issue even though, there's the vector magnetics stickers on the CF boxes sold at active foto.

ya, that's why. even kingston stuff are not recognised by convergent.

I used to work in SLS and my ex-colleague told me there are cases of CF & SD cards sold by Active Foto got problem then Convergent refused to service them. Convergent claims those cards are high quality fakes. Not GREY but fakes. Quite reliable source as I know her for years already and she wun bluff me cos I'm not buying from her anyway.

So surprised they were selling 2GB SD cards at $23 2 months ago when everyone else was at least selling at $38. Now I understand the reason...

i havent bought from active foto before. and dunno wats the exchange policy for vector is

for lexars, i just brought my faulty cards and they changed without much fuss without receipts.

guess if AP is selling at 130, might be worthwhile buying from them? for that matter, u can also check CP, they use to sell cards pretty cheaply

Quite serious...and i hope it's not true too...just take as a word of caution then...cos the prices seems alittle too gd to be true...hope my ex-colleague is giving me wrong info then...

Anyway, i bought a 2GB SD card from them before my colleague told me the info so i have already emailed Kingston Taiwan and they are checking if the card bought from them is real. Will update once I get the news from them. Then I will not be just spreading rumours...till then...pls do not take the info above as true...it's wat i heard only for now...
