Getting overcharged, poor service or even poor quality products are part and parcel or buying. When a person wants to make a profit, he or she will use all manners to persuade or even beguile the prospective customer. We as the consumers have to do leg work, home work and extensive checks to find out who's giving us a fair deal and who's not. In other words, we are penalised over the vendors' greed.

There have been several complaints regarding shops who trade in less than satisfactory methods. Arguments have been exchanged over who's right or wrong. Nevertheless, we should not discourage such feedback. They provide a valuable source of info to consumers like us. I know the risk of slander is there but if the case is valid and justified, why not?

Last but not least, we should give praise where it is deserved. We should introduce businesses to vendors who can cater to our needs, not only to help them to thrive so as to serve us better, but also to give others a chance to follow suit.

Remember, unity is power. Consumers should unite with one another, not against one another.
