Nice pictures of cats @ night....
how do u take the pictures at night without the eyes being green in color??
Mine becoz i use flash always have green eyes
please advice.... thanks

Do not use flash and shoot ambient light with a fast prime :) If you really have to flash then bounce it off the ceiling or wall.

I shoot either with a 24mm f2.8 or a 50mm f1.8 and most of the time, they would be wide open.

Occasionally I shoot with flash direct at the cat, but in those cases I would have to reduce the flash ev to the minimum... Bounced flash is the best, gives a good even lighting and yet does not affect their eyes.

But try to go lower to their eye level.

Thanks for the pointer! Actually I also abit shy to go so low to their eye level, these cats love to appear in crowded places.. Must find those less crowded area :D :D
