I really hope he's in good hands, as much as i hate it,
he should be left in his natural environment.

hi beeman, thanks for loving the fiesty felines. haha, on the contrary,the cats in my area are pretty incompetance of capturing birds. maybe due to their neutered behaviour. argh, my love for cats has evolved more and more. There's no way to change the title of this thread.:cry: i regret putting the birds together

I like how the colours of the background match those of the African grey parrot in #10. Great lighting in #34, and #41 is irresistably cute!

Just a note on the bokeh in #1 and #2 though. Personally, I feel the bokeh is a quite distracting instead of pleasing. But then again, we all know that the quality of bokeh is very subjective, and you probably wouldn't have had the time to change to a lens with better bokeh when composing those shots.

Overall, well done, with some very good details in those shots.

Hi Roark Stiggs, thanks for the kind words and advice! I will take note in future for the bokeh/background, will choose a further away background if possible to achieve the bokeh. From #1-29 were all taken with a cheap manual focus lens. I was amazed with the quality when i mount it to my dslr. It wasnt amazing when i used it on a film slr. I recently bought a cheap auto focus zoom (from #29 onwards) and still trying to figure out its temper.:bsmilie:

PS: That african grey parrot wants attention, it keeps quiet and gets jealous easily, just like a little princess.
