Cant use the edit function

Everytime i try to edit my own posts i get the error msg saying that i do not have the permission...what is wrong here? I have tried logging out and in again but to no avail.
 

Which threads/posts did u try (recently) to edit?

Let us know and we will check.

trying to edit my portfolio thread in the portfolio forum.
 

Having the same problem here.

Can't edit/delete my buy/sell threads.
 

THEY have removed the delete option. I encountered the same problem too. What you can do is to PM the administrators and instruct them to do the changes/delete for you.

Opps ... then the deletion is disabled for the Buy & Sell forum only ??? Let me test it out.

Yes the delete function is ONLY disabled on Buy and Sell. We want to keep archive of whatever is posted there so that CS members can search thru the archive as references.

I cant stop people from not thinking and reacting intelligently but I believe when people search the forum for price references (regardless WTB or WTS), they will most likely refer to recent pricing reference and not those once upon a time.

Furthermore with people like you who constantly give 2nd hand pricing advice and quotes to potential buyers or seller, the once upon a time cases should be minimum.
