Quick Qn: When you use the Canon RC-1 Wireless remote to shoot, does the camera refocus when you press the remote?
Hi All,
what do u mean by L lens?
hihi...i am praisey and also the new owner of 400d since 3march08, now still in the box! With a kit set of 17-55mm. Havent open becos i wanna to change to 18-85mm and top up.waiting for canon call to ask me to harbourfront. i will use to shoot my dogs. cheerios.
Yes. Works with my 400D. Make sure your AF is on.
Bro, if u are shooting at F1.4 and is sufficiently away fom camera... do note that its difficult to contol the Depth of Field (DOP)... try up to F4 for your shoot.. it should be okie. Thanks for the reply, I was shooting with a 50mm f1.4 @ 1.4 using the RC-1. I basically mounted the cam on a tripod, walked in front of it, and hit the remote. Some shots I'm in focus, others im out of focus. hmm

i have been searching for the 50mm F1.8. most of the shops mention its out of stock now. CP mentions they are selling at $125. is it recommendable to buy at that price?
anyone try the tamron 17-50mm f2.8 len before
any comments?
i am thinking of this tamron and the new 18-55 IS lens..
any advise
nope i am referting to the 18-55mm IS.similar to the kit lens.i have the tamron 17-50mm f2.8 and have done many weddings with it.
it's quite noisy when it sharpens to focus on the subject.
it produces great photos. =)
do you mean 17-55mm IS USM f2.8?
$1350 grey is the price almost 2 times how much u will be paying for the Tamron
