canon warranty include cleaning?

You will nvr know unless you try. For my experience, i was there at the service center last dec 2011 Jus came back from my overseas trip.
I went to the service center to clean my lens because there was some dust that has got inside.
The CSO offers to help to clean my cam mirror as well. Both are under warranty items.

So if u stay don not mind the distance, go ahead. But u will have more " bargaining power" if ur items are under warranty.

Check TS question again. Warranty is given by the manufacturer. Warranty does never include cleaning services. Dealer / SC is for local processing of warranty.

Wrong. Warranty is given by dealer, dealer as in the authorised importer. That's why warranty terms differ from country to country, even though they all originated from the same plant. Apparently we seem to have a shorter warranty here than some countries, be it cars or camera.

If warranty is by manufacturer, ADs like C&C and PML can eat grass liao...

Anyway we are getting way OT.

To TS, sensor cleaning is NOT FREE, it was free long long ago until users abuse it.
