First of all, since we have already hit the 100 targets mark, I think that it would be better for us to start an attendance list so that we can guage how many people are turning up for this session.
Like what some of you have brought up, it would be quite crowded if 50 or more people turned up, and may pose a problem in a public place. However, at this junction, we won't know the exact number until the actual day. A such, we will use the first session attendees as an estimate for subsequent sessions so that we can choose a better venue, etc.
As for the logistics, I have already mentioned that I need the following :
1) Tripod
2) Pan Head
3) Remote cable release
4) 17 inch Notebook with CS2 or DPP installed
Special thank to peterpan1975 for bringing the necessary stuff. However, I would prefer a 17 inch notebook. Therefore, any volunteer is welcome.
In addition, I would strongly recommend everyone especially newbies to bring a photo or two for critics, etc. Don't worry about bad photos, etc, we are all here to learn from one another.
On top of that, with regards to the T-shirts, it is premature to say anything until we have meet up to discuss. Is it feasible, necessary, implication and so forth shall be addresses during the meeting.
