No Tv or Av modes but there is a so called "manual mode". However, it doesn't allow you to set either the aperture or shutterspeed.

nt sure abt this new model....but previous older ixus models let u set long shutter of 1-15 sec I think.....cannot set aperture though

Canon positioned it more for pt and shoot.... can still do long exposures though as stated by Denosha and scramblur11.

Yes, you still see the flare on the LCD while composing. However, the flare isn't recorded in the actual shot. This camera is surprisingly flare resistant, even at 28mm. :think:
