S shyanyap New Member Oct 11, 2006 #43 Does it comes with manual control? (ie Tv, Av, manual modes) Thanks
D Denosha Senior Member Oct 11, 2006 #44 No Tv or Av modes but there is a so called "manual mode". However, it doesn't allow you to set either the aperture or shutterspeed.

Yes, you still see the flare on the LCD while composing. However, the flare isn't recorded in the actual shot. This camera is surprisingly flare resistant, even at 28mm. Anyway, here's one review of the SD800/Ixus850 IS: http://www.dcresource.com/reviews/canon/powershot_sd800-review/index.shtml
