Canon PRIVILEGE PURCHASE PROGRAM

PPP will at least offer you 20% off. Look at 600D instead. you can call to check if 550D is still around.
Oh .... didn't know there is further discount from ppp price .... hmmm .... then it sounds like a good deal :)

I think u juz call and ask for the price under ppp rather than the discount. After that, do ya homework and then decide.
I think they still do (but, of coz, I might be wrong), coz I did call once a couple of months earlier and specifically mentioned 550D, but for this time, I only check the website

Thanks for the replies .... I'll see where I can take it from here :)

Discount is from RRP price. Around 20% off RRP price. RRP price can be checked from Canon website. So just do your 20% calculation from there.

just went to canon service centre to take part in the ppp to get a new s95. takes about 2 weeks before stock arrives according to the cso.
quoted $476 nett from retail price of $599. that's about 20.5% off.

Thats a good price however a new model may come out . Thats the reason why canon drop the price frm 669 to 599

Oh Canon Powershot A410, bought many years back. Dropped the camera then, and lens got slanted and unable to retract.
