Canon PhotoYou

Hi

I just bought the autumn issue. By the way, anyone letting go the Spring and Summer Issues?

Spring and Summer issues available at CanonLink @ Vivo, but don't think they come with the freebies.
(I bought my Summer issue from PageOne earlier, and the freebie was a fridge magnet)
Got the Autumn issue from PageOne yesterday.

I got my Autumn issue from Borders unwrapped and without any free gift =(

For those looking for a copy,

These are also selling @ MPH (Raffles City Shopping) comes with Free Passport Cover.
Just bought one from there. :)

I bought one today at Popular. Mmmnnn...just want to say it ain't a great magz imo...not in the same league with Digital Camera World Magz or Practical Photography. Nice photos to look at and that's about it...not much info or tips we haven't yet read about it...:embrass:

It's not a technical magazine that teaches you step by step techniques and skills. It gives a brief introduction to various kinds of photography, like food (in winter edition). I would say it's a friendly guide for beginners in various fields and the quality of print is excellent for a magazine below $10. Pictures are printed big and nice.

Therefore to me it's a magazine nice to flip through and look at the pictures hopefully to find inspiration. But if I want to learn some new skills then it's not the one I would choose.

Not to forget, it's a magazine to pursuade people why Canon's basic products are good.

Its a magazine for girls/moms!

men should only buy this for the free gifts. Or if you want to infect you GFs /wives with camera BB virus.

Haha...true. It is really a girly magz for girls - like how we laugh at women drivers (sorry)... :bsmilie:
