you will looking at easily more than 5-6k for a 2nd hand piece. there is one for sale at bally in funan centre 2nd floor. no idea whether it is a good copy or not or whether they even selling it though. why not wait for the 200 f/2 coming out soon?

Through the talking with Canon guy, the coating and making process between the f/1.8 and f/2.0 is totally different. The f/1.8 was made under such though working process which 10 of the lens processing might not be 1 at excellent condition. And the 200mm f/2.0 will have the same coating as 85mm/f1.2 while the 200mm f/1.8 has different one. Actually I think about the f/2.0 too which will coming soon, but I can't hold to hand f/1.8 ... the sharpest Canon lens ever produced

it's like 200 to 300 more expensive in some shops, while shop like OP sometimes is the cheapest.
