BTW, no point putting waiting list here. There are list of priorities been created in every camera shops. They are not for waiting, they are buying.

According Adorama, it does NOT include the tripod ring.

Similar to 70-200 f/4.0, Canon made the tripod ring an optional accessories.

You would be surprised. There is such list. If there are buyers, such list will be created. The top of the list are meant for professional photographers and priority customers.

It depends on buyer's mentality. Wanting or Willing?

The lens is here in Singapore since last 1 to 2 weeks. So far the prices range from $1284 to $1350.
