Hi all friends and photographers,

Introducing the 85mm f/1.2L II USM lens. This lens is an ideal portraiture and studio lens and well known by photographers for its ability to create beautiful out of focus background (bokeh). With its vastly improved autofocus speed and low light ability, this lens can also be used for concert / stage photography. (IMHO, autofocus still not fast enough for indoor sports though). Alongside with this lens, 2 other lens added to the selection are the 17-40 f/4L and the 24/70 f/2.8L zoom lens.

Rates

EF 17-40 f/4 L - $20 for 1st day - New!
EF-S 17-55 f/2.8 IS - $30 for 1st day - Price Revised
EF 24-70 f/2.8L - $30 for 1st day - New!
EF 24-105 f/4 L IS - $30 for 1st day - Price Revised
EF 70-200 f/2.8 L IS - $40 for 1st day - Price Revised
EF 85 f/1.2L II - $50 for 1st day - New!

Extended rental period is also available! Kindly PM me for the subsequent day's rates or e-mail me.

Thank you and regards,
Loh

Loh, have a question, if say for instance, the IS mechanism of your 70-200 L IS failed during the rental period, is the hirer responsible for it?? or are your lenses coverd by insurance??

Currently the 70-200 f2.8 IS lens is still under warranty. To keep the running costs low, I will be looking for insurance coverage only when the warranty period is over.

Should the IS mechanism fail, it will be sent back to Canon service center to be diagnosed and repaired. However, if they have identified that the IS mechanism failed due to shock / dropping of lens, the hirer would be liable for the damages.

Hope that answers your question.

Regards,
Loh

however, do u check the lens when they are returned?

Yes, The lens will have to be checked for following upon return:

1) IS mechanism
2) Scratches on the front and rear glass
3) Fungus in the lens

If all are in order, the return procedure is completed and the rent is considered closed. Hope that answers your query.

;)
