In any case, the 60D offer not very good..I paid $1509 for a kit 1 two weeks ago…it is 1699 here..almost $200 difference…basically just paying for the monfrotto bag and extra batt i guess

one last question, does it mean that i can purchase at any shop at funan and then register the warrenty online and get the bag at keppel?

Basically yes, any shop, but must have local warranty, which you can register online. The free gift is for you only when you register during this period. So whatever the shop give you is additional. so which mean you can get the street price, and also the online prom freebies... For 7D you will get the bag, the tripod, and the extra battery. I went to check before, the battery roughly about $80 in the market. 3rd party about $40. If I not wrong even you have brought the camera maybe last month, then you have not register your warranty, you can register now and also get the freebies, just dun show the invoice.
Because I heard from my friend, this is a way canon make use to make people to register the warranty, so that they will not wait like 6mths later after they buy or something faulty in the camera then register their warranty. Which mean they have like 21 months of warranty. So in this case, they will force you to register when you buy to get your free gift, like the tripod etc... Not like last time the shop can give you on the spot when you purchase.

I've got S95 from the IT show. The previous 2 times when I wanted to get it, it was out of stock. Didn't go to the IT show with an agenda, but got it anyways.

One question I have: I've seen the S95 thread around last time, but any idea where is the thread now? I can't seem to find. Thanks in advance.

Not sure is it batt for 600D cheaper, when I asked price of orginial batt for 7D at M.S, was told more than $100
