Canon HF200 worth buying at $1225?

I traded in my spoilt camera at CSC and they offered to sell me HF200 at $1225, do you think it is worth it?

I checked amazon, it is selling pretty cheap at USD$599, that works out to be around SGD$864 only. Is there a catch? What are the other costs involved?

opps, sorry, did the conversion wrongly. it's around $864.
the catch is, u have to pay for shipping + GST, non-local warranty and it's a NTSC set instead of PAL

U might encounter flickering when shooting in lights, as the frequency might not match.

I'm using the HF20 (NTSC) as well. but yet to shoot much. So far, under home lights it's fine for me

For some reason PAL sets sell for a higher price than NTSC sets in US, where many Amazon products are based.

PAL HF200 at B&H photo for US$800, shipping US$47, plus GST, more than S$1300 already.

The main reason why pal sets sell for a lot more is that they can record at 25fps while ntsc is 24fps.
