They did....but on the HF100 which is the HF10 without the built in memory.

seeing that the HF11 also used the same sensor size as well as same Digic II imaging technology from HF10/HF100, low light as well as general performance is equal. The tape based HV30 using a larger sensor gives better low light performance but other then that, thats about it.
have you used the website i referenced the search engine? Its on the top right hand side. Wonder why havent Canon passed them a HV40 for a HV20 Vs HV30 Vs HV40 review?
