Canon G2 Battery Charge Problem
Happy New Year to All.
I got a canon G2 and the warranty just expiry.
Now the camera got Problem:
I charge the battery from camera.
And Now the battery only can be charged ten minutes and then the camera only can be used ten minutes.
I bought a new battery and same problem.
I think the camera got problem, not the battery problem.

any suggustion?
What can I do now?
Send to service?

there's a problem with the battery power level detector. there is a chip inside which detects the amount of battery power left. it is faulty. send to canon but be prepared to pay for this particular part.

Canon has a battery charger for bp-511. i think it cost around $200.

$200? maybe can consider the Maha Universal Charger or the Mach3.

yeah! the maha charger is about $169 (pm eastgear). Just got one. It can charge all types of batteries! BUT somehow it can't seem to charge my Sony Li batteries... hmm...
