Hi All,

I am thinking of buying 50D Kit (with 18-55mm IS). Any idea where is the best offer for this package? Or IT show will be cheaper? Please advice.

Cheers

Get it from B&S. There are some folks letting go of this to go FF. Anyway, IT show is never the best place to buy DSLR. They costs more and the freebies are usually cast aside after a while.

ur terms so chim leh...maybe im not too familiar with it....mind to explain what is B&S and FF?

Buy & Sell. Bids/auctions/Want-to-sell/Want-to-buy threads and sites.

Full-frame. Refering to actually non-crop factor, 35 mm sensor cameras. Such as 5D MK I/II and 1D series.

ok. noted with thanks

Just recent quote from bargain city

Canon 50D (17-85mm IS) + 2 pcs 4 Gb CF (from Canon) + EOS case + Extra Compatible Battery + LCD Protector + UV Filter = S$2339.00 nett

This is the customised package requested by me after visited their website

While AP is offering same price but only with 2x 4GB CF, & EOS Bag.

Just to update for those who also interested.

Do we have prices here with 18-200mm kit lens?

Thanks alot.

whats the price now on the streets for the kit I? i cant decide between a d90 and 50d...damn.

if my sentiments is right,d90 would go less than 1.6 or 1.5.. maybe cheaper.. 50d at 1.8 to 2?

called afew shops and they do not have the 50d , out of stock . Alan photos at sim lim selling at 1.8k

Selling or just offering a bait? Check carefully, they will offer whatever people ask for - but the moment you want to see or buy all kinds of funny things can pop up... "no stock, body only, grey set.." you name it.

wat is grey sets?

No local Canon warranty, parallel import. Usually replaced by "shop warranty" ... but I'm not sure whether you want to discuss a warranty issue with AP then. Alternatively you can bring the cam to Canon Service Center, for the respective charges and costs of material. The list of standard services is online.
