thats the price range. I bought my benro overseas i just dump in my luggage and check in.

If not using the new flash... I don't see the point of upgrading the firmware....
Try asking cathay. John 3:16 usually gives the highest price. But $490 is too high. John 3:16 is about $480. Try to bargain with them.

Hey there,
I'm 450D user and i have a problem with the lens. Please help me.
My lens is a standard lens which came with the purchase of the body.
I accidentally locked the Focus and cant remember which buttons i pressed etc.
Now, I can't set my Focus to Auto-Focus. I can only set it to MANUAL.
When i set it to Auto, the focus will be at the same "distance" no matter what object i point the camera to (near or far objects).
How do i set it back to normal? I have reset the settings of the camera and nothing changed.
Help! Thank you.

What lens are you using?
Check your AF / MF button on the lens and make sure that it is on AF.

That's strange. I occasionally locked focus with all my lenses and all are working fine.
Perhaps check your AF/MF switch. :think:
Not sure if hte price still stands.. but i got mine prob a month or slight more than a month ago from John at $360. Heard it's abt $380 now.
Am thinking of getting the 50mm f1.8.. but it's @ $130 now...
I got mine @ $360 with UV Filter. Now it's about what you have stated but without filter.
