Oh...Lucky you with a good copy. But Sigma lenses have that soft touch rubbery like coating. Haha.


Well, do you find the Tamron 70-200mm lens alright? Because i'm about $500 away from getting it.

Sigma's coating is the main reason why I gave up on getting it.

As for Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8, its good for its price. However once you try Sigma 70-200mm or Canon 70-200mm, you'll find that it is noisy.

Haha. Apart from the noise, i've read quite good reviews for it. Is IS really needed. I'm thinking right now. The Canon version is like double the price with today's market.

Errm I believe my 55-250mm can sell about 300? I currently abit short of the price. I'm keeping my 55-250mm for the time being. I'll sell it before i get my 70-200mm and i'll use that money to fund for a Tamron 17-50mm f2.8


Time for my to find Mr. Yoh and bring me to OP. Haha. Need to keep some cash also. Buy coffee for Mr. Yoh!

Whao... the BBB virus is attacking real strong now. 1st target = Ninja23XX .

I'm also going sentosa on Sat but it's not for the Canon 30 shots outing... It was a pre-planned outing by my schoolmates for sunburn day... XD. Not sure if I'll bring my camera along to SSS for that day as it is troublesome to bring a dslr out when you want to play on the beach at the same time SSS, then scared pple will steal your gears etc...

:bsmilie: To put it in short, IS, VC and OS are good for various tele lenses.

The effect of IS, VC and OS is especially visible when you use tele lenses handheld.
