Finally got my vertical grip today! Hopefully can get teleconverter in time for SBWR...

SUNGEI BULOH OUTING

Date: 30th May 2009, Saturday
Meeting Time/Place: 7.30am @ Woodlands MRT (TIBS bus is cheaper)

Possible Photography Opp:
* Birds
* Macro
* Landscape
* Candid

Important:
* Bring: mosquito repellant, water (No potable water source within the Reserve, only at Visitor Center), some light food (possibly for lunch).
* Wear: long pants and hat

You may want to rent longer lenses ( > 250mm) from ClubSNAP rental if you intend to shoot birds, although if we get lucky we may be able to get a little closer to the birds.

Hmm well i don't really use a tripod often that's for sure but i want/need a backpack as i dislike my sling camera bag. Worst is that i have to sling both the camera bag and the tripod. Therefore the tripod thingy is a plus for me :bsmilie:

nowadays the backpack comes with a tripod leg pocket and some elastic string which is meant to tie the tripod to the bag.

Was speaking to some 1kD, their main people dunno go where liao.

Renaming the group is a good idea but let's see how it goes. When the club gets bigger in time to come, I think it's good to rename.

The objective of organizing photo trips is to let every photographer enjoy themselves but most importantly, friendships and new knowledge is found and gathered.

If you ask me tired or not, if I say not, I must be lying. But the joy of every successful trips makes me wants to do it more.
