Guys, any good and not very costly (<$150) bags you can recommend? I need a backpack.

Is a backpack possible to put a tripod in it? I got a manfrotto and its kinda bulky and heavy to sling it all the time.

inside the bag - no.
strapped to the bag - yes.

ryan, the koi is really nice!
u can print a big canvas to hang on the wall!

Oh. Thanks. Very happy to hear that. I was trying out the 3:1 crop ratio and was really hoping it works.

I was thinking whether to give it to a friend of mine who loves Koi.

My original is 4356 x 1521. It's inclusive of my white border.

How big can I print to still keep the image tack sharp?

depending on how sharp is the orig. normally, for canvas print, it doesnt matter as no one will stand close to the print while viewing.

add on:
u interested to do a canvas print?

How about Fastpack 250? or if you dunnit a laptop compartment, you can get Mini Trekker AW.

Thanks i will go look out for that tomorrow.

guess i have no choice then.. at least better than sling onto one side of my shoulder.

That's why I got a backpack too. Was previously using Stealth Reporter D300 AW - a sling bag. Super irritating.

u can actually choose not to shoot with tripod if possible, unless nite photography. how many times u use your tripod? i can count the times i use the tripod with 1 hand within a year.

lol... anything above 2 times already a record for me..

Hmm well i don't really use a tripod often that's for sure but i want/need a backpack as i dislike my sling camera bag. Worst is that i have to sling both the camera bag and the tripod. Therefore the tripod thingy is a plus for me :bsmilie:

i think my manfrotto (legs+ballhead) is less than $180. ;p but that was years ago.
