IIRC adobeRGB is a wider gamut (ie more colours displayed on calibrated monitor) than sRGB

Thanks for the info.

According to the info, it is a recommendation to adjust using sRGB which I have been doing all the while. I've just tried without Adobe ICC profile and the result is still the same as before, where flickr and photobucket don't reconigsed the color profile.

However, the workaround is to use the "Save for Web and device" option to convert to Web compatible profile but using this option will removed my EXIF data from the picture.

The difference can be seen here: http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/showpost.php?p=5100206&postcount=1
#1 to #3 are saved using normal "Save as" in CS3 (Adobe RGB and sRGB makes no difference), where #4 is saved using "Save for Web and device" option in CS3. You'll noticed that the green in #4 is better to contrast the butterfly.

Any more ideas on how I can get my PP'ed photo colors up in flickr while retaining my EXIF info?

conclusion?
1. the -3EV can preserve details to a certain extend. by pushing additional 3-stop, details start to disappear. look for the word BAMBOO at (-3EV to 0EV) which is a little bit hard to see. at which EV after pushed that details will be lost?

2. the +3EV, being pulled back is not able to bring back the lost details. clipping can be seen at (+3EV to 0EV) and below. at which EV does the clipping starts when pulled back?

i think ive got the same problems last time. not sure if it'll work for you, go to Edit> Assign profile (or is it Edit> Convert profile). save as jpg and upload.. try see which one works? ha.. i seriously forgot..

Yep, this works. "Edit> Convert profile".

Many Thanks!

dust wont bite, as long as u dont shoot at very small aperture, shooting against a white background, or dust is as big as your pi sai.
