Nope, f1.8 is high aperture. :)

Yup, low aperture is f7 and above. OKay, if we set in manual?
Manual focus? Or manual mode. Manual mode will make no difference. Apertures like F7 would require a longer shutter length. So that enough light enters and makes your pictures bright and nice. Hand shake will start to kick in. Try apertures like F2, or F4. Sharp and the shutter speed can be fast.

Yup, I got it for 2nd hand as I cannot get the new one at that time.
Somemore, it still got half year international warranty from Tamron Japan when I got it.

Would like to go but most likely I cannot make it as I am busy with my job.

How was your Tamron 17-50mm?

Just get it from a nice gentleman.
Nice and does not have the front/back focusing issue.
I have tried it just now for about 1hr.
It is better than some of the new Tamron 17-50mm F2.8 that I have tried in MS Colour.
AF is faster than the kit lens but just a bit noisier than kit lens.
Quite happy with its performance.

Tamron lenses are generally noisy as compared to its competitors. :)

Agree with it.
my 70-300mm is also bit noisier.
But the IQ is really nice for the 17-50mm F2.8.
Quite worth the money.
