Using flash in broad daylight is very useful. Flash, doesn't mean that it only has to be used at night or during the dark. Well, if you don't want to use flash and with a high aperture number, then use a longer shutter speed. That is if your subject can stay fixed for sometime. Otherwise use a flash, bounce it off something to create a soft tone effect.will it be instant? i guess i'll go visit them next week , can ask about my S5 as well.
btw, this is so noob but i wanna clarify.
okay lets say i wanna take a portrait of a lady then the background is like many many metres away. i will be using a high fstops of around f12 ok...the details now can be seen but the exposure of the subject will be very dark. whats the best way for such instances? now, im using fill in flash to light up her face but its so unnatural. is there any other way to shoot without flash since it is in broad daylight?
