that shot is not ugly at all....

:)

quality is better than quantity, just remember that.
;p ;p ;p

I know, I know. You told me a few times today already. It's just that I was worried about not getting focus point correct, or hand-shake so tried to compensate by taking more.
I really need to work on my photo-taking technique so that I can at least be more confident of the shots that I take, so that I dun need to take so many.

Intend to give the photos autumn feel for her series.
Adjusting the colour now and still trying hard to think a theme for today shoot.

Btw, retro and editorial styles for this morning shoot for me. :)

I dunno if I got any "style" or "feel" in mind. I will have to mull over possible ideas and see if I can make-up a "style" for myself.

CSC calling for you. ;)

will it be instant? i guess i'll go visit them next week , can ask about my S5 as well.

btw, this is so noob but i wanna clarify.

okay lets say i wanna take a portrait of a lady then the background is like many many metres away. i will be using a high fstops of around f12 ok...the details now can be seen but the exposure of the subject will be very dark. whats the best way for such instances? now, im using fill in flash to light up her face but its so unnatural. is there any other way to shoot without flash since it is in broad daylight?

Using flash in broad daylight is very useful. Flash, doesn't mean that it only has to be used at night or during the dark. Well, if you don't want to use flash and with a high aperture number, then use a longer shutter speed. That is if your subject can stay fixed for sometime. Otherwise use a flash, bounce it off something to create a soft tone effect.

Instant cleaning at CSC? Never heard of it but if there is, prepare to pay for the premium.

No other way but flash.

And how far your subject will be? Too far away, if mounted on hotshoe, the flash will not reach the subject either.

Solution will then be offshoe flash meaning you need wireless flash trigger - Both transmitter and receiver.

u guy had so much fun ytd... i just had to go to bugis alone to take the event on queen of marrage... haha... waited quite long and then went off liao.

why nvr join us leh? :nono:

you mean they will take days to just blow off some dusts?

I read that we can just use a blower to remove dusts from the focusing screen or mirror, is it safe?
Right now when i view thru my viewfinder, there's two dot smudges and one tiny "hair" there.

How do i know where the dusts actually were? I skimmed thru my photos taken and the dusts appear on those shots at low aperture, those with high apertures are not affected. should i live with it? lol

btw, hows the TFCD? any shots to share?
