thinking to upgrade for the built and features.....but still thinking........but even if i can sell off at 900, i still need to foch out another $k for it......or maybe 40D is better also ?

talking about the Continuous Drive or burst mode, you can take up to 6.3 fps the 450D is 3fps i think.


PS i think 450D is good enough.

no, i am not looking at the burst rate, but merely on its built and more others features of the 50D.

450D is actually good for me, but there is a 50D booklet always hanging on my table trying to seduce me leh.

i think the built is much more solid than 450D.

yes is all down to the BBB virius.........if the economic is abit better then i no need to think so much.

anyway just post for fun first, if really got people want to take then i can start thinking if not just let it be.

BBB virus is really strong man. 50D is really seducing but it would take a long while for me to upgrade. lol. I love my 450D except for the shutter sound. The build of 50D is like shiok when holding it. Wahahaha. :bsmilie:

450D has 3.5fps. Besides. We all find the 50D or the 5D or higher series cameras nice. But actually, do we really push the camera to its full potential? Are we just buying it to show off? Today we like the 50D. Today you make your decision to change from a 450D to a 50D. Lets say if suddenly the 60D comes out tomorrow with better features, you're going to change your mind again. I agree that a decision is never there forever. Buy something that is useful and don't waste that money during hard times. You can invest on better lenses and train yourself, till a stage, you need something with a higher ISO, or that really fast 6.3fps burst mode. Otherwise, half of the time, these features are unused and sleeping.


So it's something to think about. No offence to anyone. Just think about it. How about using that money you have to bring your family out to eat or something. When they laugh or smile, take a picture. Because that one picture is more valuable than a 50D.
