Hi guys,
Mind if i digress a bit? I am really confuse which macro lens to get, 60mm or 100mm? I've read many many reviews, discussion and ask my friends but still hesitating.
I do not like to take insects. I like to take food and flowers etc. My friends recommend me to get 50mm f1.4 + 100mm macro then to ef-s 60mm macro. What you do guys think?

100mm. + a 30mm f1.4
Not only that, it can do macro at a distance, rather than a 60mm, that has to go pretty close to the subject to take a shot. For example an insect might fly/run away. Unless you are into lifeless subjects, you can get the 60mm macro lens. Otherwise, at least 100mm is needed in order not to frighten the subject away.Lol. Why 100mm because it can be use on FF?
I got the EFS-60mm...good for food n flower..it can also double up as portrait!!
see example hor...
